I present to you, BamBur!

This name is Mongolian and means "little tiger." The way you should pronounce it is with a long "U" and roll the "R" at the end. That's the local way. I had help from my buddy in choosing the name because I wanted him to have a Mongolian one. It really doesn't matter though because he doesn't even understand that this is his name yet anyway. He also doesn't understand the carpet (never the tile) is not his toilet. It's kinda cute to have a puppy and what not but at the end of the day it's a little crazy to take care of this little guy. Not sure I want to do this without having a backyard in the future. However, he's my new companion.

Well you can call him whatever you want since you will prolly never meet him.
Also, I take Athena's comment as a delightful compliment. Thanks. We went to get shots today but the doc said that he's still too little. We'll go back after May 1st.

I actually don't know but my fears of him being some ugly chinese bread are lessening because he's growing into a more and more handsome little rascal.

Curtis, we don't know each other but I know Bethany and she thinks you're fabulous! Anyway, I occasionally check out your site for the funny stories (love the old and disabled pic!) but I've got to tell you, that pup is so cute! Make sure you contact the embassy before you leave to see what kind of documentation you need to get him home. (Are you bringing him home?) And go to the vet a few weeks before you depart so you can do a test run on the tranquilizer for the plane ride.
